Bus Fare Token Box Round Vintage Antique 1950's? Vault & Key!
Model E5 by Diamond Mfg. Chrome Plated Brass & Brass vault!
This older round style design accepts coins and tokens.
Remember the days when you boarded a bus and dropped your dime into the round slot?
Then the bus driver pulled a lever and your dime disappeared?
Well this is that unit!
In very good condition, with some minor scratches that would be expected after 50 + years of use? (see pictures for a sample of condition).
Makes a nice conversation piece, bar, tip jar, poker table, swear jar, man cave, piggy bank, 50's room......you decide!
Each has its own little light to see inside at night.
Sold for $1500 when new!
The fare box cabinet is 20" in height and 5" in diameter.
The brass vault is 9" in height and has a 4.75" diameter.
